SEARCY COUNTY FAIR RULES & REGULATIONS

1. In no case shall the Searcy County Fair, Inc. officers or board members be responsible for any loss, damage, injury or death by disease, theft, or from any cause to any property while same is on display or any other time or place. The exhibitor shall be responsible for the care of his own exhibits, Livestock and poultry.

2. Competent judges will be provided for all areas. The judge’s decision will be final.

3. No unworthy exhibit will be eligible to receive a Ribbons or  Ribbon Money (fair Check).

4. Each superintendent will oversee the Species and the judging results will be entered in to Showorks.

5. Checks in payment for Ribbon Money “Fair Checks” will be made as soon as possible after the close of the fair.

6. All Family and Consumer science exhibits must be in place by 6pm Tuesday and remain in place until 12 noon Saturday to receive Ribbon Money “Fair Checks”

7. Livestock will be brought in by 7 pm Wednesday and remain in place until 12:00 Noon on Saturday to receive Ribbon Money “Fair Checks”

8. Searcy County residents only are eligible for Ribbon Money “fair Checks” however, all students who attend school in Searcy  County, or persons who live on land where part of their farmstead is contiguous to and in Searcy County shall be considered a resident of this county.

9. NO PARKING inside the fairgrounds. Handicapped may come in to load and unload.

10. Fairground gates will be locked at 10 PM Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. ALL livestock exhibitors MUST leave by midnight. A watchman will be on duty from midnight until 6:00 am.

11. The Searcy County Fair reserves the right to refuse any material or exhibits that the voting members or the executive board deem unsuitable .

12.  Exhibitors  will receive ribbons and  Ribbon Money “Fair Checks “ based on  points determined by placement of  1st, 2nd and 3rd.
