BEEF CATTLE

1. All bulls must be registered.
2. All bulls 12 months and older must have nose rings
3. Cattle must have Certificate of Veterinary Inspection or issued within 90 days prior to exhibition
4. Fee $20.00 Per Entry
5. The Exhibitors are responsible for: furnishing water containers, feed, and care; providing stall bedding; and cleaning and disposing of waste at designated places outside of barn
6. Exhibitors will be limited to 2 entries per class.
7. Points will be awarded in each class as follows:
1st place – 40 Points ,
2nd place – 30 Points ,
3rd place—20 Points
8. All cattle must be halter broken. This rule will be observed closely by the judge’s decision in making awards.
9. Junior  is a 4H/FFA Member; Open is all other exhibitors

GROUP CLASSES:*All animals must be owned by one exhibitor and shown in
  appropriate individual classes to qualify.

121  Cow/Calf Pair, cow born before Sep 1, two years prior with calf at side.
          The  Calf cannot be over 9 months old.
122  Pair of Bulls, two males owned by one exhibitor
123  Pair of Heifers, two females owned by one exhibitor
124  Get-of-Sire, four animals all by one sire, both sexes to be represented
125  Produce of Dam, two animals by one dam, one sex represented
126  Breeder Six Head, six animals owned by one exhibitor
127  Bred and Owned, must be bred and owned by the junior exhibitor. Entry          must be shown in above class and under two years of age. Proof of           registration must be provided on entry form. Junior show only.
131  Native Bred
MARKET STEER CLASSES:
128  Lightweight Steers, weighing less than 850 pounds
129  Heavyweight Steers, weighing 850 pounds and over
COMMERCIAL HEIFER CLASSES:

130 Commercial Heifers 
American – crosses with Brahman influence 
English – Angus, Hereford, Shorthorn, South Devon, etc 
Exotic – Simmental, Limousin, Charolais, Maine-Anjou, Chianina Saler, etc
