Herdsman Award
Herdsman awards are based on the appearance and upkeep of the exhibit throughout fair week. Each exhibitor will receive an example score sheet with entry packet.
Herdsman will be judged and awarded based on a points system. Points may be earned for each of the following:
1. Attending required exhibitor meetings.
2.Helping with fair cleanup
3. Attending specified workshops
4. Preparation of Exhibit
5. Appearance and Attitude of Exhibitors
6. Care of Exhibit
Peewee Herdsman Award
Peewee Herdsman is only awarded to exhibitors 8 and under. Livestock superintendents are responsible for judging and awarding this award to the Peewee Exhibitor that has best displayed hard work, good attitude and willingness to help others.
Showmanship Award
Showmanship will be divided into categories based on age
1.Peewee—ages 8 & under
2. Junior—ages 9-13
3. Senior—ages 14-19
All Peewee showmen will receive a Ribbon.
All judges’ decisions are final
